RO Membrane Preservative PHS-817
1 / 1
RO Membrane Preservative PHS-817
  • Product Features Introduction
  • Specification Sheet
  • RO membrane preservative PHS-817 is high-performance liquid preservative.
When shutting down an RO/NF system for more than 48 hours, it is essential to conduct wet storage to prevent microbial growth. Based on historical system operation experience, it is recommended to chemically clean all membrane elements before shutdown or wet storage, especially when contamination is suspected.
Additionally, within 10 hours after cleaning, the following wet storage procedures must be implemented:
    • Submerge the elements in a 5-10% preservation solution and purge air from the pressure vessel using overflow techniques
    • Circulate the preservation solution to minimize residual air within the system.
    • Close all valves to prevent air from coming into contact with the preservation solution.
    • Check the pH of the preservation solution weekly, and replace it when the pH drops below 3.
    • Replace the preservation solution monthly.
    • During shutdown, prevent the membrane system from freezing, ensuring the temperature does not exceed 45°C. Lower temperatures are preferable for storage conditions.

    Product Characteristics
    • Compatible with all major R.O. membranes
    • Effectively preserves R.O. membranes, maintains their performance, and extends their lifespan
    • Can be used directly or diluted
    • Liquid product for convenient application

    Precautions
    • PHS-817 non-flammable, non-explosive, slightly acidic. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
  • Appearance
    Light yellow to yellow liquid
    Specific Gravity
    1.10 ± 0.1
    pH(original liquid)
    4.0 – 7.0
    Packaging
Net weight of 25 kilograms or 200 kilograms in plastic drums
