PHS-520 Boiler Water Deaerator
-
PHS-520 is a low-toxicity organic deaerator replacing hydrazine, suitable for low, medium, and high-pressure boilers. This compound formulation includes DEHA (Diethylhydroxylamine) and special organic catalysts that rapidly react with dissolved oxygen. It does not increase dissolved solids in boiler water and also acts as a passivator, protecting feedwater pipelines, feedwater pumps, economizers, and the boiler itself from oxygen corrosion. PHS-520 is volatile, making it effective in inhibiting oxygen corrosion in condensate water systems as well.
PHS-520 can be added as a concentrate or diluted with pure water and continuously injected using a metering pump. The metering pump's power can be synchronized with the feedwater pump's power for simultaneous injection. The dosing tank should ideally have a movable lid to prevent exposure to atmospheric oxygen. It can be added downstream of the deaeration tower in the feedwater pipeline, or additionally in steam lines to enhance oxygen control in condensate water systems. Dosage recommendations will be tailored by our technical engineers based on your specific system characteristics.
