Cooling Tower - Chlorine Tablets PHS-450

Due to the instability of bleach (sodium hypochlorite) when exposed to sunlight, heat, and heavy metal impurities, which can rapidly decrease its effectiveness in controlling microbial growth in general cooling water, swimming pools, and wastewater, European and American countries commonly use stable, long-lasting, and highly effective organic chlorine tablets (PHS-450). These tablets are convenient to use and effectively solve the problem of microbial growth in industrial settings, ensuring safety.
The PHS-450 chlorine tablets, housed in a mesh plastic basket or netted plastic sleeve, dissolve slowly when placed in the water tower. For larger systems, they can be dissolved in a dilution tank before addition or directly introduced into the tower to maintain residual chlorine levels in water at 0.1–0.3 ppm (measured using simple colorimetric tests).

Precautions
